Hot Off The Stamping Press: UberChic Beauty Collection 6 and Christmas Nail Art Stamping Plates!

Hey stamp champs,

Always new plates on the horizon! Today I'm just doing a little catch up in the plate press department hence the double post.  This post will be on Uberchic Beauty' latest release.  We all know this company is has been dropping plates like its hot for a while now lol.  So as usual here are a few more of Brittany's marvelous creations coming right off the press.  I'm going to start with Collection 6 and show you the Christmas plate last ;)

Let's get this party started!

Somebody got on that watermarble trend before Bundle Monster eh? Lol I am of course referring to that starburst watermarble pattern rocking out the left hand corner.  This plate is all about the celebrations.  It took me a moment to take it all in and at first I thought it was a Birthday themed plate until I saw the Happy New Year typography.  Then I realized it's a celebration all around with a little bit of abstract graphic and floral detailing thrown in for good measure.

We all know UC does florals well.  Hell better than well they are always spectacular! I'm not sure what the flowers are 3rd row from the bottom are? Cabbage roses? They look lush we got ourself more of the reciprocal images I love so much as well.  The abstract 2nd row from the bottom 1st from the right is a flipped over diagonal facing image from UC 1-03.  I'm a little upset I didn't have it now since I'm wearing the straight up version right now.  Lol it would have added to the depth of my current mani, but that's altogether a different story.  Finally I'm going to point out that lacey gorgeous image right at the bottom.  It's beautiful! Love it to bits!

A few more basics here that are pretty unique in their own way.  I'm looking at you image 2nd from the bottom row 2nd from the left ;)  I'm loving the feathers and the orchids as well.  And the heart image here would be gorgeous with the new technique I've been playing with.  The roses are beautiful too, but if I were being 100% honest I'd say I really am getting rose fatigue.  I know a lot of ladies love them but I'm a bit maxed out on them currently  I will subtract the larger roses climbing image from that statement since it is calling out for some chinoiserie inspired artwork ;)

And finally the Christmas plate!  This one is actually currently sold out and I'm not sure if/when it will restock.  For now I will say this is a one-stop Christmas themed plate.  By that I mean most of the images are somewhat basic, and no I don't mean that in a mean way, and have been done on other plates before however these are all clustered together saving you the hassle of trying to scramble through all of your plates to find them.  Particularly impressive/novel to me are the poinsettia images and the ornaments sitting right next to them.  One thing that I really like about this plate is that Brittany chose to leave the all the ornaments "open" meaning you can create whichever colors you want with decaling where as most platemakers leave them "closed" so whatever stamping polish you use becomes the color of the ornament.  I like the open patterns method much more for customization.

So what do you think? Did anyone purchase these plates already and if so how are you liking them? You can find Collection 6 and the Christmas themed plate up on the Uberchic Beauty website.  Full sets retail for $24.99 USD and single plates retail for $14.99 USD + flat rate shipping ($5 USD within the continental US).  I would urge you to purchase more items together rather than singly to maximize on the cost of shipping i.e. if you had a wishlist going now is the time to purchase several items off instead of only one or two items.
