MoYou London Tropical Overlapping Nail Art + Tutorial!

Hey stamperistas

I've been wanting to try these overlapping plates from MoYou London out for a while now.  In fact I purchased two of them as soon as they released, but I just didn't have a chance to pick them up and break them out until recently.  They've been sitting at my bedside just staring at me begging to be used so I decided to put them to good use and I'm totally pleased with how fun and tropical this mani came out :)

Mani-louge
Basecoat/Topcoat: UNT Peel Off Basecoat / Sally Hansen Diamond Flash
Gradient:  Zoya Blue & Color Club Under The Black Light
Stamping polishes: Mundo de Unas 2, 4, 21, and 37
Stamping plate:  MoYou London Tropical Collection 23
Random assorted polishes for accents
Homemade EtoH based leadlight polish

So yes these are definitely not holiday festive, dark, fall like, or celebrating the bringing of the cajun turkey.  Reasons for that is as follows - first I have to work this year on Thanksgiving and Christmas as well so the holiday feeling has not settled onto me the way it might.  Second I just wanted to play with my overlapping plates without thinking too deeply about the holidays.  Third cause its my nails and I do what I want ;)  Ok I probably should have just started there because its the truth anyway. Lol!

Recently MYL has been releasing several plates that I've been super excited for!  I'm gonna dismiss the disturbing and slightly frightening Circus Collection they unveiled last week as I absolutely abhor clowns and there are so many of the frightening creatures hanging about in that collection.  I will never understand it. Ugh!  Anyway this collection of overlapping plates across several collections is just perfection.  I can't wait to take my Holy Shapes one out for a spin as well!

Speaking of Holy Shapes I really hope they expand that collection again and the Explorer Collection as well. I still love all of those plates the most!  Though last week I was really feeling those new Illusion plates. I'll get those up on the blog soon!  In any case I'm gonna say these overlapping plates will require you to use a stamping polish that doesn't dry at the speed of light if you want super distinct segments.  Now if you are mixing polishes or just don't give af that might also work with faster drying polishes.  Lol.

I'm gonna leave you guys with this sexy side shot of my nails plates and tropical like flowers. Lol I really love MoYou London.  Overall this is a company that has really managed to maintain my interest continuously over the last several years!  Damn them for bringing out those clowns -_-.  In any case I hoped you like this mani.  Go watch it on my Youtube and gimme a thumbs up homies! Thanks for reading and I'll see you next post!
