MoYou London 31 Day Nail Art Challenge: Day 21 Fashion

Today I decided to do another post for the 31 Day Nail Art Challenge I did for MoYou London a while ago.  If you follow me on Instagram you know about all the posts and the winner has been announced ages ago.  I wanted to make sure I got up all the blog posts that corresponded as well but it's been a bit of slow going.  The prompt for the 21st day was Fashion.  I chose to use designs and patterns by the tribal and pattern loving designer Mara Hoffman.

On Sunday I Stamp: Floss Gloss Pony Tribal Easter Nail Art

I hope everyone has been having a good weekend! I'm early for Easter and I honestly don't care! Remember when I raved about the new Festive Easter plates releasing from MoYou London (here)?  Well this was the collection that pushed the envelope for me hitting every button I had to push and before I knew it the plates were flowing into my cart and then into my eagerly waiting paws. I couldn't wait to try them, and today is Sunday which means an Adventures in Stamping challenge - pastels.  It's been a while since I've done one of these since I stamp all the time, but here we go...

You might remember my latest foray into Floss Gloss when I did my neon tribal last week (here).  Clearly I'm having a love affair with the brand and today it's  Pony, Moon Baby, and Tanlines. Pony is this pale coral polish that reminded me slightly of Essie Tart Deco and Van d'Go, but is paler than both. The shade is likely universally flattering as I haven't met a coral yet that doesn't look good on all skin tones. This polish frustrated me a little as it was very thick and yet simultaneously streaky.  I would recommend thinning it out which I did and then it played nicely.  It still required 3 coats to even out the streaks.  If the color was any less flawless that might have been a dealbreaker for me.

So what do you think?  Hardly surprising to see a tribal around here these days right? Anyway MoYou London Festive Collection Easter edition plates are every bit as awesome as I expected them to be and then some!  Honestly, I'm so happy I got these and I think they are going to be utterly worth the investment.  The question is will I have time to play with these to my hearts content when I have so many other plates that deserve some TLC?
