Who's excited for Thanksgiving/Black Friday/Small Business Saturday & Christmas?  I'm trying to get amped up.  Obviously I didn't get to post much of my Halloween nail art despite creating a lot of it so be prepared as the month rolls onward to see some untimely spooky nail art lol.  I've just decided there's no point to being super stringent on myself and these timelines.  I have to work with a body that is adjusting to things and in many ways in still unbelievably ill.  The week before last  I even had surgery which sort of threw me into another health tailspin.  So I'm just going to post as I will for whatever holiday.  And as it happens I'm starting anew with Christmas.  This mani I'm sharing was actually going to be a 4 part video tutorial of Christmas Simples.  However that kind of mega post & video edit requires some serious stamina which I am severely lacking.  Instead I'm going to break them apart and post them a solo.   Let's start with UberChic Beauty who I have the very real pleasure of working with.

Where the hell has the summer gone?!?  I'm literally gobsmacked that it's going to be September already.  This year has literally flown by for me but particularly the summer,  BUT I am so excited for fall!  Not ONLY is it PSL season (yes all hail the PSL!) but its time to start thinking about all the fall nail art that is just so much fun including one of my favorite holidays Halloween!  And just in time for that thinking are new plates from UberChic Beauty inspired by the upcoming fall season!  Can I just say yay!

Happy Hump Day!  It's official I'm really on a roll!  I am really getting a lot of inspiration these days and so the nail art is just coming.  I decided not to film all the nail art I create particularly the more simple mani's.  At some point I may just post up a video of 5-6 easy looks in a compilation.  Today's nail art is super simple while being pretty and bright! It feels perfect for spring or summer & got me a few compliments as well :)

Can I just say thank you so much to everyone who has wished me well recently in my troubles with my health & becoming recently wheelchair bound.  It's been amazingly kind & motivating.  It would be a lie to say this hasn't been so incredibly hard for me & its been taking a toll adjusting but I still have so much faith in the process of medicine & healing and I know I can overcome this, but hearing you guys wishing me well & saying you believe in me helps me to believe it too so thank you so much for that!  Phew - now that I've gotten that sappiness out and speaking of someone who has always had faith in me ;et's talk about Brittany & UberChic Beauty's latest releases.  And can I just say this company has become a powerhouse of releases.  I can never keep up!

I've been wanting to do another "watercolor style" mani for a while now.  They do require quite a bit of work but are utterly worth it in terms of how pretty and diffused a wash of color can look over the nail plate.  I haven't really done one of these since I did my Starbucks inspired nails.   This time I decided to keep the colors fairly simple and not do a ton of layering of colors but I love how this looked so simple and pretty with just a hint of sparkle at the high points.  I'd actually been playing with the Moroccan plate from UberChic Beauty for a while and created one other sort of crystalline holo look that I will share as well.  I think I'm slowly getting my mojo back even if my body isn't in full cooperation.

Ok so I was supposed to be demoing the new storage binders that UberChic Beauty released in the holographic colorway that hold 34 of the medium sized 9.0cm x14.5cm  plates and then as I was filling up my binders I ended up pulling the Wild West plate and wanting to do something with the cacti on the plate.  I'm not sure about the creation.  Tbh I have created like 5-6 manis that I feel have been fails.  I'm so frustrated and embarrassed I have hesitated to post anything, but today I decided to just jump in.  I held back the tutorial because I'm so uncertain so unless someone asks I most likely will not post it though the materials for created the mani are listed below.  Regarding the binders - I'll be putting up the holo binders next which are I have to say completely and utterly awesome and I hope some of you were able to pick them up with the initial release or during the recent sale.  I know I  did!

Talk about a brand I'm behind in and UberChic Beauty will be at the top of the list.   Unfortunately or fortunately depending of you are and your budgeting Brittany releases plates like mad!  It means I can never ever keep up with all her wares on a bad day or a good one.  I'm behind on the last collection but because of my blog posts I know exactly where I left off.  And as it's fall she has also released several of her single release plates and mini's.  As usual quality is never the question with this brand its merely picking out the plates that make your heart strings sing and going from there!
