Ah I gotta say today I'm so thrilled with my usual opening.  For as long as I've been running this blog I have been calling my followers such strange names...polished prisoners, stamp champs, stamperistas, lacqueristas, holo whores lol.  You get the drill, but todays the first day I have ever had one of my phrasings quoted on a plate! Yup that's right the lovely Brittany of UberChic Beauty is at it again.  More on those phrasing later but for now lets take a look at all the pretty!

How is everyone? Hopefully those who are on the east coast of the US in cities that got hit by snow are doing well.  I've been pretty much homebound since DC does not know how to handle snow in any serious fashion.  In any case today I have swatches for your from a new to me brand - Jior Couture!  It's just a short post since only have 2 lovely shades to share with you, but I'm so excited to show you something new that I tried today!

Today I've got the latest release from MoYou London fresh off the presses and ready for Valentine's Day! First of all how is January almost over? It's flown by like a bolt with very few new plates except for a few releases covered here. In any case its almost time for love or time for singles awareness or time for celebrating the majesty of sweet romance with overpriced candies and magnificent jewelry or if you're me polishes and plates, but whatever.  Let's do this thing!

Let me take a moment to squeal and squee over this occasion cause today I've got the latest greatest polishes from Cupcake Polish! First let me stop and say it's such a great honor to be able to swatch for this brand.  You will never know how many times I have secretly lusted over Sara's polishes and not been able to scoop them. Curse you student status! Ah but today its all about the bling bling, and let me tell you right now I gasped when I opened this package because these polishes pack what can only be described as a hefty dose of holo rainbow glittery magic.  Let's get into this shall we?

Magnetic Jeweled Stonework Nail Art + Tutorial

Recently I've become obsessed with magnetic nail polishes mainly owing to the fact that when I was in the TJ Maxx the other day I found a bunch from Nails Inc for .99 cents on the polish rack.  I figured after seeing some of the amazing things The Swatchaholic and some Russian bloggers (yes in fact its always Russia - they must be putting something in the water over there) using the Masura magnetic polishes I had to take a shake at it.  I will admit I did not get the effect that they did I think due in part to the fact that I did not have a very strong magnet as they did, but the effect was so pretty I'm going to be trying LOTS more of these in the future +/- stamping!

MoYou London Triangle Grid Placement Neon Nail Art + Tutorial

Hey hey hey lacquer ladies,

I'm back today with some nail art that is a little more typical for my brand of art ;)  In short - MoYou London, tribal-esque, and neon.  Yeah typical and right up my alley a bit different from my last delicate mani with the 3D placement.  Where the last was soft this one is bold and right in your face lots of gradient power and eye grabbing color.  This time around I also took my new AliExpress "Clear Jelly Stamper" out for a spin.  I'll have some more thoughts on it coming up in a future post since I haven't had a chance to test it under all conditions yet.  I will say this however so far I actually find it easier to do placement mani's without it than with.  Lol go figure.
