Hot Off The Stamping Press: New MyOnline Shop Stamping Plates!
Hey stamperistas,
Another plate post today! This one for new plates that released from +MyOnline Shop a few weeks ago. You may recall, if you are a long time reader, that I posted about Meanne's Jr series before. Of all the plates she creates these are my favorite and cover an unbelievable number of themes from Harry Potter and 50 Shades of Gray to the Taj Mahal and ocean themed frollicks. These plates are well etched and really worth the investment such that prior to this release I had every single one. I have not been as soon about using them despite loving all of them. So today I'm going to show you the latest release from this collection plus a new MJ plate that released at the same time. Let's get this party started!

Polish TBH Disney Princess Collection Select Swatches & Nail Art
Hey lacqueristas,
Long time no chat! Sorry for the silence over the weekend! I had big plans and reviews to post however I had a little accident with my left ankle and spend the weekend writhing in agony and trying to get myself to go to the emergency room. Lol well one aircast, brace, and several icing sessions later here I stand/hobble. Ready to move on and so you some pretty! And the best part of today's swatch-a-thon is that it features PolishTBH, an indie that does crellies/jellies in a way that makes my heart pound, and it features Disney which just always always makes me smile. That's right! Today I've got a few selections from the 12 polish limited edition Disney Princess Collection from PolishTBH. Prepare to set your wallets to stun ;)

Hot Off The Stamping Press: New MyOnline Shop Nail Art Stamping Plates!
Hiya stamperistas,
Ready for some more new nail art stamping plates? It actually slowed down quite a bit from the top of the year, but as usual several brands have decided to release a few plates for the spring so we are faced with big tidal waves of releases instead of a steady trickle. So today I'm going to turn the tap on so you don't get left behind in the squall ;) MyOnline Shop is getting ready to release another set of 7 plates in a scant few days so let's take a look.

Hot Off The Stamping Press: New MyOnline Shop MJ Nail Art Stamping Plates!
Yo lacqueristas,
Tired of all the new releases yet? Is your wallet screaming for mercy? Mine is - repeatedly. It's saying b*%t$ you must have lost your ever loving mind! Lol alas. Too bad for my wallet that my only joy in life these days stems directly from nail art stamping. Still though I can't afford everything I want. Not even close. These days I've been so so good I'm hoping Santa or the nail art fairies out there will reward me with a nice prize for being such a good girl! I mean let's be honest - I've held back on so many purchases these last few months and now it's literally pouring plates. Ack! So here's a few more from a brand that's no stranger to this blog. MyOnline Shop which run by Meann a designer and creator from the Philippines and you guys know how much I love her Jr plates so of course I was excited to see what she came up with for the new MJ plates.
She starts off with a travel theme plate. These seem to be quite popular lately with at least 4 other brands taking a swing at their interpretation MoYou London, Winstonia, and Marianne Nails to name a few...

Elevation Polish Forest Collection Swatches and Nail Art
Hey lacqueristas,
Today I have my monthly installment of Elevation Polish awesomeness. This month's collection is called the Forest Collection and it features a host of soothing deep rich colored polishes that are sure to spike any polish lovers' desires. As usual Lulu has done an outstanding job of creating a collection that has a little something for everyone. The Forest Collection is packed full of neutral shimmers, devastating crellies jammed with iridescent glitter and of course holographics. Coming hard on the hills of the Summit 2 Collection the Forest Collection feels like a twist in the usual offerings we see over the summer i.e. neons, neons, and more neons with a little matte glitter thrown in for flair. I have to say I throughly enjoyed the change of pace. Now let's get started...
Pointless Forest 2
Described as a teal glitter polish by Lulu which vastly understates the deliciousness and the rich depth of this polish. What we have here is a scrumptious deep green crelly finish that leans teal. It is also packed with gold, blue, purple, and more square shaped iridescent glitter.

It's hard to look at it directly because the polish feels like it shifts with the light. It is by far my absolute favorite of this entire collection and is the very definition of complex perfection. I regretted taking this mani off the minute it left my fingers.
I tried to capture the subtle hints of glitter glimmering through the polish along with the pastel beauty of a garden.
Avenue of the Baobabs
A gorgeous taupe polish packed full of deep raspberry pink shimmer that subtlety shifts depending on the lighting. Oh my! I cannot tell you how I love polishes like this! And of course because the base is taupe and essentially a neutral it's immensely flexible as a base for nail art.
However, because I was so in love with this color I decided to play it nice and soft for the nail art here. If you look closely at the enlarged swatches you can see the shimmer including these intense blue flecks that I didn't notice until after I started editing my photos!

In the end I think I still overwhelmed the base color a bit despite keeping the art relatively spare.
Shilin Stone Forest
A dusty grey black flecked shimmer mixed with holo pigment. I love grey polishes! I think they work well as neutrals to high contrast color nail art. In this case Shilin was so soft it seemed at times to be easily overwhelmed by any change. The holo pigment itself was difficult to capture lurking even in the sunlight, and as you can see from my photos I got the best depiction indoors in my lightbox. I choose to keep the nail art for this one exceedingly simple as once again I fought not to overwhelm the delicacy of the polish with too much art.

Hinglajgarh Forest
Described as a bright green I think this polish actually leans toward sage green with a strong linear holo. In my opinion the richest representative the Forest Collection. I love this one as well! Then again what's not to love? It also happens to be a very near one coater which is always winning in my book.
Because this is the Forest Collection I tried to capture that same feel in my nail art. I'm not sure of my success, but I love how this one turned out. It was jungle themed.
Well jungle themed and tribal. I love how this came out!
So what do you think? A rather different collection than we are used to seeing in the summer right? I'm glad to see some pretty neutrals for the summer as well! The Forest Collection will be available for purchase on the Elevation Polish Big Cartel site on July 7th at 10PM EST and July 22 at 10AM EST. Pricings typically ranges from $8.50-14 USD. Don't miss out on another great Elevation Polish collection! I hope you enjoyed the swatches and art and I'll see you next post...

Elevation Polish The Sea Collection Swatches & Nail Art
Welcome back varnished vixens,
Today I have my monthly installment of Elevation Polish swatches and nail art from The Sea collection! In general I love Elevation Polish, you know that, but occasionally there is a collection where every color will strike a cord with you and every color will feel special. That's how I feel about The Sea collection. Teals, blues, subtle shimmer, holographics, matte glitters, and the best of all lots and lots of one coaters. The gods have smiled down upon me or Lulu and I just have similar tastes but whatever. She did specifically say these were colors that she wears all the time and I can see why. Let's take a look at all the pretty...
First off is Weddell Sea. Of all the polishes in The Sea Collection this one was the one that was the most intriguing and difficult for me. Weddell is an off white creme based polish full of white and silver shimmer and a mere hint of holographic pigment. Sometimes this polish leans a slight bluish tinge on me. When you hit a really strong light that's when you can see the holo effect the best, however most of the time it's hiding.
This polish was also the thickest of all the colors in the collection. Lulu stated that she focused closely on the formula for this collection and thus a lot of them are one coaters. This one was a bit too thick for me so I thinned it with Seche Vite thinner. It leveled out nicely after that and I was able to apply it in 2 thinner coats.
The Med 2
A teal with green shimmer that shifts from green to gold depending on the lighting. For those that don't know the original Med was a small batch prototype a few months ago. I wasn't able to acquire it though I did drool over it. So I was surprised and pleased to see a reincarnation of the SBP has made it into the regular EP line up.
At just the right angle you capture the gold transition but the green is the most apparent.

Bohai Sea
Bohai is a cobalt blue holo that lies somewhere between a scattered and linear type. The formula was flawless pictured here in 2 self leveling coats. This was really the only polish of the entire collection that required two coats for opacity. So you can see Lulu really did a phenomenal job with the formulations (which IMO she always does but these were on a whole other level).
I love this polish! It's festive, bright, and perfect for the summer. Because the holo pigment is medium this polish manages to stay in a subtle category at least when no in direct light. And let's be honest have I ever met a blue polish I don't like? The answer is invariably no. Not possible but whatever lol!

I went with another ocean look here again which I felt was appropos considering this is the Sea Collection.
What do you think? I know that was a lot of pics because this time there were 5 polishes in the monthly collection. Do you have any favorites? I have to say for me Thracian Sea and Bohai Sea were personal favorites. I'll be getting a few back ups per usual! Lol. These polishes will release for purchase on June 7th at 9PM CST and June 22nd at 9AM CST. Elevation Polish retails between 8.50-12.00 USD. They can be purchased here on Big Cartel. I know you are wondering why I'm missing the Yeti for June from this post and that's because I already had too many swatches and art for the Sea Collection. I created a separate post for the Yeti polish so stay tuned. Thanks for reading and see you next post...

This polish swatched out exactly like I knew it would - flawlessly. The color reminded me of those little aquariums you own as a kid or see in school classrooms so I created a little reef and the lone fish to capture that image.
At just the right angle you capture the gold transition but the green is the most apparent.
Thracian Sea
A dark grey creme with heavy purple undertones. This polish is probably one of my favorites of the entire collection! You may be wondering why but the answer is very simple. This polish is what I call an homage to perfect formulation. When I applied it it was literally the perfect self-leveling one coater. ONE. I also happen to own more grey colored polish than any other color in my collection except maybe blue.
What I love even more about this polish is that it represents an atypical color that we don't generally think about when we think of the ocean, but anyone who has lived in Maine or New Hampshire can tell you the ocean can most definitely be grey.

This grey leans so purple on me it's almost eggplant. I love it!

Ceram Sea
A green leaning turquoise creme. Another flawless formulation. Again another one coat wonder! Please excuse me while I swoon. In my opinion Ceram is the true teal of the bunch. It's not a true turquoise because of the way it leans heavily toward the green territory. Because of this I decided to create a mani with a sharkish theme and I think it played out nicely in the gradient I created using Ceram.
The gradient I created using Puncak Jaya, Ceram Sea, and Thracian Sea was art in and of itself. This turned out so pretty!

Neon Mickey Mouse MyOnline Shop Nail Art
Hey Stamperistas,
It's a Disney themed nail art day! All I can hear in my head is, "Hey Mickey you're so fine you're so fine you blow my mind!" I have been planning this mani since I bought the Jr Plates from MyOnline Shop (you can read about it here). Plate 05 is wildly innovative and different from any plate I've seen that's themed around Mickey Mouse ever. If you remember it was also the first plate I used from the new collection for my one of my Valentine's Day mani's (here). Today I did something a little brighter with a punch for spring. I hope you'll like it...
It can basically be said that I am never far from my Orly Baked Collection these days in case you hadn't noticed. I find myself wondering how I would have pulled off some of the exuberant mani's I've done lately without this collection. The colors are so intense! Orly Neon Heat was a no brainer, but what you may not know is all the colors of the accent peace sign nails are from the Baked Collection as well except the blue and yellow. Love love love these polish! What took me by surprise was Zoya Thandie. This orange is so milky and bright. The formulation is killer. I love it when polishes play together like this!
The Jr plates - fast becoming a dear place in my heart. I have every single one of them released so far. They are of superb quality and every time I pick one up a get inspired to create something. I really hope you liked today's art. You can find the Jr plates here on MyOnline Shop. They retail for $7.50 USD per plate, but if you buy a bundle they will cost $7 per plate. Sorry its slowed down a little here. I'm exhausted because of work. I have so many backlogged mani's to share and a epic giveaway coming soon since I've hit a few milestones and I'm quickly approaching another ;) Stay tuned and thanks for reading. I'll see you next post...

Hot Off The Stamping Press: New MyOnline Shop Jr Plates!
Hey lacquer ladies,
Once again it's raining and pouring new plates! Lol they always come in waves and spurts as opposed to one solitary release at a time. It's tough on a girls wallet. In any case this time it's MyOnline Shop releasing another set consisting of 5 plates from her Jr collection. You may recall me blogging about the initial release of the first 6 sets here or the Valentines Day nail art I did using her plates here and here. These plates have been nothing short of phenomenal in terms of quality and design which is why I was shocked to see new plates coming out so soon from the initial release. Of course I also couldn't wait to see what Meann created next...
As you can see she started strong right out of the gate with more Harry Potter and Dr. Who imagery! This plate is quite literally everything and I love it!
You all know I love a good floral so this plate for me is a good choice and features a lot of floral motifs I had not previously seen on other plates.
Oh Kurumi So cute and so evil lol all you want is to rule the world and push My Melody out a window so you can finally get down to business. Her good intentions always get in the way of your best plots. Lol which is why I can never resist an image of you. This plate is Sanrio wonderland with Raggedy Anne and Andy thrown in for good measure.
Barbie, Tinkerbell, and Bratz oh my! I have mixed feelings about this plate. I wasn't really into the who Bratz thing when I was growing up but I was definitely a Barbie girl and a Disney fanatic. I still remember my Totally Hair Barbie fondly. Lol for that alone I would probably scoop this plate.
The last plate I absolutely adore but not for the reasons most people would think. I am actually not a crazy cat lady or dog lady unlike a lot of my fellow bloggers lol. I just have very fond memories of Lady and the Tramp and her run in with two very mischievous and plotting Siamese cats lol! If you don't recall here's a little refresher for your memory.
Lol! So here we are another set of Jr stamping plates that are pretty awesome if I do say so myself. Do you have any favorites in this new release? These plates can now found in two locations at Meann's store on Store Envy or Amazon.com. The plates retail for $7.50 per plate or $30 for the entire set, and are available for preorder now. Happy stamping ladies and thanks for reading! I'll see you next post...
