Halloween 2017: MoYou London Halloween Funky French + Tutorial

Hey stamp champs

Time for another Halloween mani.  This time playing with colors and french tips as opposed to classic Halloween imagery.  Really this was just an excuse for me to break out my new MoYou London Frenchy Collection plates and Starrily's Big Bang Flurry which I have been dying to use since I bought it so long ago.  The end product of this combo was a pretty and cute mani that could potentially be toned down for a casual Halloween nail art.

Messy Mansion & Moyra Burnt Paper & Falling Leaves Nail Art

Hi stamperistas

Does anyone remember a very very long time ago I created nail art using the Messy Mansion "Love Letters" plate?  No well I do!  I was one of most popular designs.  At that time I think it may have been right when I was just getting into photography and trying to figure out lighting etc.  I've come a long way from there, but that mani remains one of the ones that I wanted to recreate to this day.  However there is no point IMO in recreating nail art if you can't make it better and in this case I used the art I created to enter the Beautometry Next Top Swatcher Contest.  If you have a chance and wouldn't mind please go like my first entry on Instagram and Facebook.

Rasberries, Greeens, & Golds Magnetic Floral Nail Art + Tutorial

Hey lacqueristas
Press Sample

Ugh I held out against more magnetics for a while.  If you follow me on IG you may have seen this one - which was gorgeous!  Truthfully when I use the US ones it just makes me crave the Masura ones so much more horribly.  Their color range is stunning and frankly there are more polishes from their line than any other.  Not saying that I wouldn't also kill for the Golden Eyes from Dance Legend,  but basically nothing trumps Masura.  Nonetheless I had to had to do this.  I was playing around after one of my prior mani's popped off and then I created this magic.  Suddenly I had to do a full blown mani and of course I had to share ;)  Let me know if you'd like to see more magnetic mani's in the future or the different techniques too!

Nudes and Neutrals Fall Geometric Uberchic Beauty Nail Art + Tutorial

Hey stamp champs,

Rolling out a little geometric magic for you today.  Gotta say I've really been on a roll these days with my nail art wanting to try out a bunch of new things.  Today I kept things classic and put a slight twist on it.  The classic would be the abstract pattern from UberChic Beauty.  The twist would be using my nail template from Messy Mansion to make some magic happen with that pattern.  The colorway I chose also stays true to fall so I hope you like it!

Hot Off The Stamping Press: New Messy Mansion Nail Art Stamping Plates + Carbon Nail Art Stamper + MM Decal Stamping Mat + New MM Stamping Polishes!!

Hey stamperistas,

Talk about good things coming to those who wait.  Lol let me say I have been waiting for this moment for a very very long time.  The moment when Julia the powerhouse creator behind Messy Mansion would do a few of the things that insanely long title indicated. Yup first - she finally finally created and announced her release of stamping polishes.  I knew this day was coming since she first revealed her Leadlight Polish line and oh how I prayed about it.  "Please let Julia make a stamping polish because she is so good at what she does!", and then guess what she did! Also because I have a little birdy whispering in my ear I knew this carbon stamper was coming.  I had some kind of small stampergasm when I first saw it.  You will too lol.  I'm so busy getting excited about this I haven't even talked about the plates.  Whatever let's get into this thing!

Elevation Polish Journey Told Through Music Collection 2 Swatches and Nail Art Part 1 (Pic Heavy)

Welcome back laqueristas,

I know it hasn't been all that long since I posted a megathon of art and swatches for Elevation Polish and this month is very special because it brings the return of the fantastic Journey Through Music Collection Part Deux as well another gorgeous one of a kind Yeti.  And if that wasn't enough this month is the Annual EvP Charity Auction!  Unfortunately the collection was so big that I could not swatch and art them all out at once.  It was just beyond me so I decided to split the post into 2 parts. Part 1 will cover 4 polishes and Part 2 will cover the other 3 polishes and more Yeti's.  So a few things - below I have placed the links to all the songs each color was inspired by in the title of the polish; all you have to do is click.  And please forgive me if my swatches and photos are a bit different this time since I got a new camera and I'm still getting the hang of things - eep!  Now let's get started!

Ratatouille Strychnine

A shimmering pink and blue flecked shimmer topcoat inspired by Tori Amos' Mr. Zebra.  This one can be made to wear solo if you are committed.  It will take about 4 coats to reach opacity or you can do like I did and cheat and use a similar colored base color and then top it with this glorious shimmer!  It worked out perfectly it took about 2 coats to make it more opaque and less of an accent, but in my trials playing around with this polish I've found it looks gorgeous over a variety of shades including layered in between semi-opaque polishes.  When this polish hits the light just the right way you see flashes of blue everywhere as pictured below.

Messy Mansion MM Series Nail Art Stamping Plate Review

Yo stamp champs,

Today I have a first time review for you which is strange because its definitely not a first time brand to the blog.  You know I spoke quite a bit at the start of the year about chronicling some reviews for brands that I love but never reviewed because they were perfect.   The Messy Mansion MM series is a prime example of plates that fall into that category.  You have to understand I have been purchasing plates from Julia since her company started.  I have a slightly obsessive-compulsive relationship when it comes to any products released by Messy Mansion and I think most of you know this well. However to the new and inexperienced stamper I might just seem bat sh*t crazy since I've never posted a review to back up my assertions at least until today ;)  So as usual with these reviews everything is in sections feel free to cruise around and don't forget to leave me some love in the comments and feedback ;)  Here we go....

Hot Off The Stamping Press: New Messy Mansion Nail Art Stamping Plates!

Hey stamperistas,

I'm so sorry I haven't been more active around these parts.  I have actually been incredibly crushed these days.  It feels really really bad in fact I'm sure I'm loosing hair because of all the insanity pushing around me these days.  I did mention it but I have an unexpected move happening and somehow my health also decided now was a good time to start acting up.  Needless to say its misery meets company over here.  However I will never ever stray too far from my stamping and I'll have up a review for you guys tomorrow too, but for now let's take a look at the latest set of plates from Messy Mansion!

Hot Off The Stamping Press: Messy Mansion MM Series Nail Art Stamping Plates!

Hey stamp champs,

We're back at it again - if only you could see the backlog of plate post releases I need to get out! Lol. Scrambling like a mad woman to get on top of everything which is difficult when there are so many companies releasing plates ALL the time.  However I am always so freaking excited any time Messy Mansion releases anything! And you know that because I love love love me some Julia McGowan.  A lady this dedicated to novelty and quality deserves all my praises and admiration.  On top of this I don't think she's released one product that hasn't been a smash hit, and I know because I own it all! Wait redacted.  I own everything except the basics kit.  I need those little metal plates with the guides cut out and then my collection will be complete! In any case let's take a look at the next set of releases....

Messy Mansion Neon Coral Jelly Sandwich Ocean Nail Art

Hey stamperistas,

Welcome to my version of the sea ;)  The coral is neon and the sea life blooms in shades of pastel.  Its pretty and whimsical and just really damn fun!  I can't even tell you where I got the idea for this mani because it all started with the basecoat.  I just wanted to create a jelly sandwich.  Initially I had been thinking of doing something sheer and dramatic then I decided to take my Leadlight Lacquer plates for a cruise again (you can read the review here) and the rest as they say is history.  For those that are like, "What happened to your lovely square shaped nails?" and don't follow me on Instagram - the short version is I had two devastating breaks in as many days and decided to try out some tips and a different shape.

Wallpaper Series: Damask Leadlght Lacquer Nail Art (Alcohol Ink Method)

Hey lacqueristas,

I've got like an ancient and yet new post for your all ;) For those that have been super duper long time followers of my blog, I know few and far between right, you may remember that I have always loved and been obsessed with wallpaper.  In fact I created a series here called the Wallpaper Series.  It died a slow neglected death :/ Gah! In any case today it's back! Why?  Because the minute I saw this Leadlight Lacquer plate from Messy Mansion I knew damask wallpaper nail art was headed my way, and yours as well ;)

Neon Bejeweled Abstract Leadlight Lacquer Nail Art

Hey varnished vixens,

Happy Sunday! As you all know I love to follow up stamping plate reviews with....nail art.  Lol kinda makes perfect sense right.  Yesterday I reviewed the new Leadlight Lacquer plates from Messy Mansion (read about it here) and despite also pulling out a mega tutorial for double processed stamping I still couldn't leave these plates alone and so here we are.  Know what else I can't leave alone? My neon mate polishes from Virtuous Polish.  They are stunning and aren't getting nearly enough nail time in my life.  So while it may be the heart of winter over here prepare for some tropical storms....

Messy Mansion Leadlight Lacquer Nail Art Stamping Plate Review

Hey stamperistas,

Happy Saturday everyone! It's raining proverbial icy cats and dogs outside right now.  I hope everyone is staying inside where it's warm and dry where ever you may be.  Today I have yet another epic review for you all!  Lol I have a lot of them don't I?  However I figure the more of these posts I create the larger the database will exist upon which you can choose to make your purchases.  Today I'm going to reviewing the Leadlight Lacquer plates from Messy Mansion.  These released late in December of 2014 thought if you recall from my sneak peek 8 months ago I've been anticipating them for a very long time so now I'm super excited and ready to show that they were and are entirely worth the wait! Now let's get started and don't forget to leave me some love and feedback in the comments below ;)

Christmas 2014: O Holy Night Nail Art

Welcome back varnished vixens,

Today I want to share some special nail art with you.  I have been dying to create some holy night nail art for years now.  I have failed many times.  Lol of course I never posted them because they were a hot mess, but today I think I succeeded in the craft.  Even if you aren't religious or don't believe in the sabbath everyone can just admire pretty nails!  And to be frank I had several stamping plates that were calling out for me to create this design.  So of course I obliged ;)

Happy December stamp champs,

The year is winding down now, but the stamping press is STILL steaming! Insanity in bits and pieces. Messy Mansion has released the Bridal Nails and LeadLight Lacquer collections!  You can't keep up with all the plates? No problem I'll do it for you ;)  Lol please don't unsubscribe.  I can see the looks of horror and desperation on your faces.  "Please Tamira my budget I can't stand to look any more, but the plates are so pretty..." Lol as you can see I have an active imagination, but I do understand you plight however I have been heavily anticipating these plates for MONTHS now so I absolutely positively must share them now that they have been released. That's right you can finally get your hands on these pretty babies so let's take a look at what all my fuss has been about.
