MoYou London 31 Day Nail Art Challenge: Day 18 Song

Good morning lacquer ladies,

Today I have day 18 of the MoYou 31 day nail art challenge for you.  The theme of the day was Song.  I went back and forth about which song to do or whether to do a more generic music/Roxy Collection inspired nail art.  I scrolled through my playlists thinking maybe I could find inspiration that way and finally settled on Men At Work - Land Down Under.  I thought this would work well because then I could break out my Explorer and Tourist Collection plates again!  So let's take a look.

Lacquer Lockdown - Wet N Wild Teal Slowly and See, Orly Color Burst Neon Pink, Zoya Thande, China Glaze Happy Go Lucky, Mundo de Unas stamping polish, MoYou London Exploror 06 , Explorer 06, MoYou London Tourist 09, Tourist 09, nail art, nail art stamping blog, diy nail art, cute nail art ideas, aboriginal art inspired nails

So I will be honest and  say I'm not entirely pleased with how this mani turned out.  Mainly I felt like the dot art could have been a bit more cleanly executed and I likely would have entirely redone those two nails however I ran out of time.  Often during this challenge I was running home from work and school exhausted and would try to pull something together.  The challenges that frustrated me the most were the ones where I ran out of time.  I am a perfectionist when it comes to my nail art.  If I misstamp an image it comes off and gets redone until I'm happy unless of course I'm under a time constraint.  So this ended up being another mani I'd like to reattempt in the future.  The one thing I will say I absolutely loved about this was the colors especially on the sunset nail.

  2. Thank you sweetums :) The index finger is one that I would actually redo over since the pattern got distorted, but I love how the colors came together as well!
