Still hanging in there. My soul is not completely shriveled and I'm giving it my full gusto all about the love all about the bling bling heart thang. Ok that's a lie, but whatever for those that follow me on Instagram you know I just got my new MoYou London Festive plates for Valentine's Day seriously in the nick of time for some V-day nail art. I'm also very seriously considering how to work my own style into 2 different V-day looks, but time is closing in. I should have started doing these the last 2 weeks of January because now I'm finally starting to get lots of cool ideas. Alas!

The gradient here is super soft. I did that on purpose so that it didn't overshadow the gradient stamping and just remained a subtle backdrop. Despite how complicated this looks this was a super simple mani. This is one that can be done pretty much last minute to the day itself and wouldn't take more than one hour to do both hands. It actually takes me so much longer to create these designs, but once you have them and the steps its pretty straightforward.
Recently I was told my nail art is very complicated which made me kind of laugh. Because if anything I feel as though I've simplified my art a great deal these days compared to before. You notice there has been an absence lately of super detailed decal work or even double triple layer stamping? I haven't even done any leadlight or aquarelle recently so I'm finding the idea that my nail art has grown even more complicated somewhat puzzling. I'm going to discount my recent excursions into magnetic polishes from this because that has been rather complicated, but the last one I didn't even post on the blog so what gives? Has my art gotten more complicated again and maybe I just haven't noticed?
So what do you think? I still haven't done anything terribly anti-V day this year. I'm not really feeling it because I think I've made my sentiments known on that front for a while now so its time to try something new for a change. If anything I'll be going to Starbucks to try out that new limited edition V-day Frappachino to see what all the fuss is about. I've heard the molten chocolate one is insane! Usually I can't stand chocolate in my coffee with the sole exception of the Salted Carmel Mocha, but only because its generally more salty than sweet, but this year I'm going to make a small exception ;) In any case I have a few more V-day mani's in store. I may double post this weekend but we'll see. Thanks so much for reading and see you next post!
