GlitterDaze Escape To Paradise Collection & Swatches

Hey varnished vixens
Press Sample

Sorry for the radio silence! Once again the poverty of student status combined with student level technology had been my undoing and Apple Store had my computer until just this evening.  I wanted to get these swatches up earlier, but alas. I'm actually really happy the store was able to recover my images!  I've decided now I'm going to just start saving for a new computer since this one is getting old and angry.  In any case today I'm going to be sharing some seriously gorgeous and pretty nail polishes with you from a new to me indie polish company - GlitterDaze.  I don't know how this brand just came to my attention, but boy and I glad it did because boy let me tell you this Escape To Paradise Collection is gorgeous!  Biased? Absolutely!  But honest as well as literally the minute I opened my package I was stunned.  But I'll just let my pictures do the talking ;)

I took some really fun promo shots for this collection because I have seriously never encountered such lovely presentation on the outside of polish boxes before!

The boxes from this brand are beautiful, and the bottles themselves are beautiful too!

Dancing A Go Go

A deep purple jelly filled with purple/blue iridescent glass flecks, holographic microglitter, holographic and sterling silver flakes.  All swatches I applied Poshe for the topcoat.

This is my favorite color in the entire collection! It's beautifully multidimensional.

You can see the shimmer peeking out from so many angles.  Actually these polishes were a bit tough to photograph for that reason.  The shimmer is very dense.

Getting Steamy In Santorini

A smoky charcoal jelly polish filled with pink/purple iridescent glass flecks, holographic microglitter, holographic and sterling silver flakes.

I'm not sure how charcoal this polish is. As it leans a warm silverish grey on me.  I think the flakies here combined with the base make it seem a bit more silver than grey.

As I said too before the shimmer on these is very strong.  In this case there were times that my nails seemed almost pinky silver because of the shimmer component. If you follow my Instagram you say the promo I did for this one.  Its beautiful!

Btw though the shimmer is strong you can still see the tiny holographic elements in these polishes beautifully!

Wanderlusting

A Coral jelly polish with gold/green iridescent glass flecks, holographic microglitter, holographic and sterling silver flakes.

I think the red and blue based polishes in this collection demonstrate the sterling silver flakies the best.  You can really see them pushing forward here.

Those gold colored flakes are also out of control here!  Its really apparent at almost very angle.  I think Wanderlusting is one of the more complex polishes here and is gloriously shiny and beautiful as a result!

Btw I wonder if you guys know when I swatch particularly glitters/shimmers/duochromes I take over 25 photos per polish trying to capture the different elements of a polish.  See how different this polish looks at every angle.  I could show you more but we have several more polishes to go ;)

Caicos By The Ocean

A turquoise blue jelly polish filled with orange/pink iridescent glass flecks, holographic microglitter, holographic and sterling silver flakes.

Damn this is Cinderella's dress with her glass slippers crushed into the fabric!   Absolutely one of the most difficult polishes to capture in this collection.  And refracted the light like nobodies business.

Definitely not turquoise on me more of an ice blue but look at how crazy the depth is here.  Blue, green, purple, pink, and silver are being thrown back.  Insane!

Hahaha one more cause really!

Pool Boys Wanted

A periwinkle blue jelly with orange pink iridescent glass flecks, holographic microglitter, holographic and sterling silver flakes.

Here's another one that was hard to capture, but so worth the effort.  Somehow the silver flakies in this polish magnified its refractive power two fold.  It was so blinging I had to bring down the ISO just to get the color accuracy correct!

Gorgeous and absolutely flattering as all get out with my complexion!

Silver and purple with diamonds shining everywhere!

I Need Vitamin Sea

A seafoam green jelly polished filled with pink/purple iridescent glass flecks, holographic microglitter, holographic and sterling silver flakes.

Gah! Let's talk about Vitamin Sea!  I went outside after I swatched this and almost had a heart attack.  This is one of the most holographic shimmer polishes I ever encountered.  Scattered holo rainbow shot back at me from every direction and I think you can tell from these photos compared to the others something about Vitamin Sea is just stronger with the holo.

It was a real  b***h to photograph.  Angles were everything.  I think the holo may have taken over the sterling silvre flakies a bit but it was so glorious so glorious!  Gah

Let's Have A Waikiki

A magenta shade filled with pink/purple iridescent glass flecks, holographic microglitter, holographic and sterling silver flakes.

Very different from Wanderlusting.  I know even I was a bit confused when I saw them both in the bottle.  I was like hmmm did she accidentally send me 2 of the same? Nope!  What the human eye needs a minute to compare my lights cannot confuse.

As you can see Waikiki (let's have a kiki! - sorry had too) leans much more silver than Wanderlusting.  In fact the silver flakies are much more in your face in Waikiki in part I think because their is no gold shimmer in this one.

See what I mean?  What a stunner can definitely see the purple and pink irredscence here!

Staycay

A Lavender jelly with gold/green iridescent glass flecks, holographic microglitter, holographic and sterling silver flakes. 2-3 coats for full coverage application.

Staycay was seriously one of the hardest polishes I've ever had to photograph! It is extremely golden and shimmery.  My camera kept getting destracted by all that gold shimmer and didn't want to capture the silver flakies.

I tried almost 10,000 angles.  Ok that is a gross exaggeration, but this is the polish I took the most pictures of.  It kept changing and changing and changing.  It is unquestionably so pretty and something about the shimmer for this one made if feel the most delicate of all of them.

Bikini's & Bellini's

A rosy pink jelly polish filled with yellow/blue iridescent glass flecks, holographic microglitter, holographic and sterling silver flakes.

Another favorite in the collection for me.  I love the color on this one to bits and look how it made my skin glow!

Basically my skin is always glowing (sike) but really!  The gold shimmer the silver flakies the slight bounch back of the yellow and blue flecks.  Gah!

What a pretty lady!

I'm Not Melon-choly

A bright chartreuse jelly polish filled with orange/pink iridescent glass flecks, holographic microglitter, holographic and sterling silver flakes.

The silver flakies somewhat disappear in this one.  I think because the chartreuse which looks like lemon acid (love it!) is very strong!

Because of that though I think the holo becomes a little more apparent.  These swatches are very color accurate however it was a bit harder to capture the holo here. Still the pink shimmer is magnificent!

And so there were have it the GlitterDaze Escape To Paradise Collection!  What do you think? I actually feel like this is one of the more unique nail polish collections I have swatched and if you purchase them you'll see exactly what I mean.  Somehow the shimmer the holo and the flakie come together in such beautiful ways.  This collection is available right now on the GlitterDaze website.  Go get em while their hot!
