My Favorite Plates for Halloween 2018!

Hey stamp champs,
Nothing To Disclose

Its been a quiet week so I must apologize.  I haven't been feeling very well this last week and instead my bones have been shaking & quaking and causing me more & more problems as the week progressed until yesterday when I could barely move around in my home and ended up sleeping most of the day and taking medications.  I'm finally starting to feel a little bit better today so I thought I better get my  my annual favorites for Halloween post up since unbelievably its already the 24th of September!  Last year I did an updated post from my very first Halloween favorites back in 2014 (wow - ancient!) and this year I thought I would continue the tradition and show you some new plates that have caught my eye and made me go yes please!  Some you will have to get on the ball to order immediately if they are going to make it to you in time, but trust when I say they will be UTTERLY worth it.

My Favorite Nail Art Stamping Plates for Christmas 2017!

Hiya stamperistas,
Happy post thanksgiving dolls I apologize for the delay in this post I had an unexpected hospitalization sigh but I'm back!  Now its time for my annual favorites of Christmas.  I say annual but y'all know I'm hit or miss on that jazz.   Here's my first post cataloging all my Xmas favorites. Lets talk about how Christmas is my favorite holiday of all time!  I love the lights, the scarves, the warmth of hot cider and yummy apple brandy, and of course the smell of pine needles and spiced candles is everywhere.  For me its an irresistible combination.  Its been love at first sight for years now. As such every year when new stamping plates release I realize that love all over again and I want to share it with you today so get ready!

First up and in no particular order....

My Favorite Nail Art Stamping Plates for Halloween 2017!

Hey stamp champs,

As promised an update on my favorite plates for the upcoming holiday.  I apologize for the delay as I went to grab info on several of the platemakers I was shocked to realize many were closing doors, but more about that later.  Has anyone got plans yet for Halloween? Costume ideas?  As you know almost 3 years ago I put together a post of all of my favorite Halloween stamping plates featuring plates I loved incredibly hard and also the ones that made me feel I would literally die without.  Yes literally! Ok not literally, but you know what I mean.  Halloween is one of my favorite seasons and as always I want to share that love and hopefully stir your own excitement and my own as the holiday filled with pumpkin flavored treats and pseudo-scary delights!

Cupcake Polish Unicorn Collection Holographic Glitter Ribbon Nail Art + Tutorial

Hey lacqueristas,

Today I'm embarking on my journey of loving the crap out of my new Cupcake Polish's from the Unicorn Collection.  Yes - I know exactly how that sounds but I really don't care.  These polishes are awesome.  If they were candy I would gobble them up if they were clothing I'd wear them every day until they fell apart.  The obsession is REAL darlings!  On that note let's get into it...

Pet'la Plate Abstract Shattered Glass Nail Art + Tutorial

Hey lacqueristas,

Unless you've been living under a nail art tomb, which you definitely shouldn't be if you're reading my blog, you've heard of the shattered glass trend! This comes straight out of South Korea from the creative mind of Park Eun Kung of Unistella.  You can read a bit more about the lady behind the trend here in Vogue.  Have you seen these nails and if you have what do you think of them?  When I first saw this design I immediately thought I have to try this with stamping.  Of course I'm not just gonna repeat what other people are doing.  My venue has always been stamping so when I see something novel I always think about ways to incorporate it into my own style of nail art.  I wanted something open and abstract and pretty.  Let me show you what I ended up with ;)

Stamping Mat Head To Head: Which Mat Is The Right Mat For You?

Updated 2/24/2016

Hey stamperistas,

I put together this little post because these days we are literally being SLAMMED with options for nail art stamping mats.  It's actually a little overwhelming and crazy nevertheless the upside of all the variety is that competition welcomes variety and improvement.  The downside is that it leaves us as the consumer wondering which is the best choice when it comes to our precious dollars and cents. Luckily you have a little ace in your hole - I am of course referring to me ;)  So today I'm going to show you what's out there on the market thus far, and give you a brand by brand comparison.  This won't be incredibly long, but will likely be quite useful especially the chart below.  Now let's go and for heaven's sake leave me some comment love ;)
