I've got the latest yummy and decadent releases from one of my favorite platemakers to share with yo - UberChic Beauty!  Honestly I was so shocked when I saw this was their 27th set of plates.  Brittany has been busy and as with her previous collection there is definitely something present for everyone.  This release also features some cuticle clean up product and more storage solutions for those of us who are utterly plate addicted.  So without further ado let's dive into the shiney goodies!

Its been so long since I've painted my nails and to top things off I am fully on the "shorties" train!  I can't remember the last time my natural nails were this short but it is related to the fact that I've been so ill my nails haven't really been growing.  Also when I have had growth my nails have broken quickly.  This is the first time I'm experiencing a problem with sustaining my nail growth so I'll be posting some tips on how I'm getting my growth jump started again soon.    Anyway even though they are short they are still my nails and I still want them to be cute.  I'm finally breaking out some of my Black Friday purchases.  Yup....way back from Black Friday but give a girl a break I'm definitely so far behind in everything and doing some super simple super pretty stamping.

How I've missed this space - it has literally been so long!  I'm so sad that I haven't been able to actively blog, communicate, & share my love of nail art, polish, etc with you all through much of the tail end of last year and most of the first half of this one.  I wanted to come back today because I'm finally in a place where I've processed some things and I'm able to share with you all what has been going on for those of your that remain and shockingly those of you who are newcomers despite my radio silence.

Long time no chat!  I'm sorry I've been absent lately if you follow me on IG you know that I've been hospitalized and dealing with some serious health related matters at the top of the year which have frankly sucked.  I had not really been feeling well enough to blog but when I was offered the opportunity to swatch a Valentines Day related polish called The Vellvet Death by the the lovely of Chirality I thought it was a good opportunity to get back into the swing of things and also get back in touch with my love of polishing and nail art in general.

Let's talk about this beautiful polish! The Velvet Death was inspired, as Amanda describes it, by a ravishing Skull shaped Red Velvet Cake. 'The Velvet Death' has a sparkly silver-grey base with pinkish red shimmer and red microflakes.  I'll show you that inspo below!
