KBShimmer Fall 2016 Swatches Part I

Hey lacqueristas,
Press Sample

Time to get back to some Lacquer Lockdown basics! Meaning swatching and reviewing!  I'm backlogged unbelievably, but let's press on in a fashion that allows me to share the the beautiful plates and polishes I've come across as quickly as I can! Today I'm sharing the some of the KBShimmer Fall 2016 Collection.  As usual with Christy Rose her polishes are beautiful, flawless formulations, and enough glitter, holo, and shimmer to make even the plainest of Jane's wish for a little bit of the KBShimmer magic ;)

Fright This Way

Blackened purple jelly polish with holo flecks and deep purple hexagon glitter.  Timely for the Halloween season to say the least!

What's spectacular about this polish is that it has so much depth!

This one was close to being my absolute favorite out of this entire grouping or it would have been if not for a pretty little holographic brown number that stole the show!

Sweet Devotion

A white crelly inspired by candy and as such chocked full of blue, red, yellow, orange, green, and brown hex glitter with micro slice glitters.

I like polishes like these though I don't wear them often enough!  When indie polishes first started hitting the scene these milky based glitters were always my favorite.  They seem just sweet and light in addition they are somewhat like ready made art.  The glitter when placed carefully looks perfect and without an ounce of pun intended incredibly sweet!

Do yourself a favor and don't rush between coats so that your layers don't drag and build up beautifully.

Orchiding Me?

Purple fuchsia leaning linear holographic polish inspired by orchids.  Strongly linear and intensely rich in color.  God I love this polish!

Perfect mix of deep purple with a blush of red undertone!  This one also glided on so smoothly I thought I was hallucinating.  Pictured here with two coats NO topcoat!  Look at that gloss!

I could all damn day...I had a hard time taking this off as a result.

Tiers Of Joy

Cake batter ice cream nail polish?  Yup!  Creamy yellowish vanilla cake batter inspired base full of holo gold and pink glitter hexes and brownish colored microglitter. I'd describe this polish as sweet and pretty oh and perfect for a fall inspired mani!  Opaque in 3 thin coats or 2 thick ones.  Pictured here with 3 coats topped by KBS Clearly On Top.

Of the two milky glitters this one is my absolute favorite.  It just screams fall and sweetness and I can see maple leaves dancing across this nail polish easily!

I will say this as an aside the KBS Cleary On Top Topcoat has been severely underestimated.  It's incredibly glossy and smoothed out any bumps from the glitter perfectly!

Oh My Ganache

Holy chocolate moley!  Deep chocolate linear holo of my dreams.  Let me be honest every KBS holo is the holo of my dreams but some colors such as brown, nude, or say green are like my crack! I want to gobble them up and own every single variety there is.   This one is perfect.  Opaque in almost one coat perfect in two topped by nothing.  I'm gagging on the perfection f this polish!  I'll stop the gush so you can drool along too!

Mmmm hot chocolate anyone? Oh wait I got it - salted carmel mocha - YES!

Finger licking good!
