Quickie post today cause my world is all shook up because of finals and crap! I hate not putting up mega posts or reviews on the weekend but its so clear its just not gonna happen until later next week. Prepare for a mad dash onslaught of reviews at that time as well as more nail art. In the mean time I'll just be posting more catch up on plate releases. Today I'm gonna talk about the new expansion happening from MoYou London's Fashionista and Holy Shapes Collection!
Fashionista mascot who basically frightens me per usual with her eclectic mix of patterns and fabrics and just...if this were Office Space - flare. **shudders**
Ugh I held out against more magnetics for a while. If you follow me on IG you may have seen this one - which was gorgeous! Truthfully when I use the US ones it just makes me crave the Masura ones so much more horribly. Their color range is stunning and frankly there are more polishes from their line than any other. Not saying that I wouldn't also kill for the Golden Eyes from Dance Legend, but basically nothing trumps Masura. Nonetheless I had to had to do this. I was playing around after one of my prior mani's popped off and then I created this magic. Suddenly I had to do a full blown mani and of course I had to share ;) Let me know if you'd like to see more magnetic mani's in the future or the different techniques too!
Today I'm super excited to share another awesome collection of nail polishes with you! I've been so blessed lately to work with so many talented polish makers with so many delicious and totally gorgeous polishes. So when Sara of Cupcake Polish told me about her newest collection of linear holos for the spring I was all in. In case you forgot I swatched her last collection The Unicorn Collection and it was spectacular! This collection seriously game me some severe chills as well when I saw them. I seriously can't get enough of her beautiful polishes and I guarantee you won't either when you see these. Lets go!
Today I'm doing a mani very much inspired by the awesome and severely talented Sveta Sanders. If you don't know who she is go and check out her Instagram I promise you won't be disappointed. In any case she's pretty much the sole reason I found out about Bow Polish and its thermal topcoat and since then I'd been dying to create "disappearing" stamping nail art.
Sorry for the radio silence! Once again the poverty of student status combined with student level technology had been my undoing and Apple Store had my computer until just this evening. I wanted to get these swatches up earlier, but alas. I'm actually really happy the store was able to recover my images! I've decided now I'm going to just start saving for a new computer since this one is getting old and angry. In any case today I'm going to be sharing some seriously gorgeous and pretty nail polishes with you from a new to me indie polish company - GlitterDaze. I don't know how this brand just came to my attention, but boy and I glad it did because boy let me tell you this Escape To Paradise Collection is gorgeous! Biased? Absolutely! But honest as well as literally the minute I opened my package I was stunned. But I'll just let my pictures do the talking ;)
As promised another post today to catch up with all the plate releases that have been happening that I'm behind on. This one is dedicated to the very newly released and very refreshing Flower Power Collection from MoYou London. So let's just dive right in!
I know I am so far behind in plate press releases that its gonna be a task to catch up. I'm gonna post up a few today so you see what's out there or rather what's been out there ;) This post is dedicated to the last released from Pueen Cosmetics Lover II Collection. The reviews for these plates seemed to be popping up everywhere. I will say in general it's been my experience with Pueen that their plates are very high quality with regard to etching and seem to offer a variety of images. The last few releases haven't really hit it out of the ballpark for me with regard to innovation, but I can appreciate the solid framework with which these collections are designed. So let's take a look!
They say when you love something you should set it free. I say beat it to death with a stick lolol. Kidding! But seriously the Sharpies are back they come with yet another delicious holographic polish and shockingly another UberChic related nail art. I swear it wasn't intentional. I was actually making a promo for the new UberChic Beauty Jumbo CJS when I realized I should just create a whole tutorial using the nail art instead of showing one single nail. The rest just kinda fell together as they say.
Sorry for the short radio silence my wifi has been down because Comcast is the root of all that is evil and makes me long for my old Verizon. Nevertheless today I'm going to be reviewing the XL stamper from UberChic Beauty. I actually had to play around with this stamper so much before I could post a review on it. This in part came from it being entirely a size I've never used before in this style of stamper and second and I think more importantly the difference in the size and style of the "holder" I was using needed to be adapted to. In fact, I struggled a lot with that which is great for you because now I can prevent you from having that same struggle. It was obviously less awesome for me, but in all honesty its good to get some challenges in with stamping now and again because that's how I keep learning and growing. Anyhoo this review will be broken up into sections which you can browse as well as full scale video review complete with swatches. Please let me know if you have any comments or questions below. Now let's get started!
