Lesson Lockdown: Whats Up Nails Holographic Powder Review (Regular Polish & UV) + Tips

Hey lacquer loving ladies,
Gift
I'm back again with more holo. Not because it's an on point trend, though it is, but because I have a horrible addiction.  I can't stop buying holographic polishes, products, etc.  If you follow me on Instagram (which you should cause its always ahead of my blog in terms of what I'm doing) you know I got this holographic powder from Whats Up Nails as a gift for a order gone awry.  I did talk about this one my last press release for Uberchic Beauty since that's what I was after, but needless to say the Whats Up Nails brand has a lifetime loyal customer.  Their service is bar none and they value their customers a lot! I'm grateful and extremely extremely thankful.  Anyway I got this powder from them and holy smokes this is legit.  Like legit legit.  Like holy holo Batman I'm dead!  I created this review at the request of several of my IG followers after I posted the pic below.  I have a ton of experiment a video to go along with if you prefer watching to reading and a few life lessons I learned working with this product.  So whether you are a gel nail girl or not your can still use this powder and win!

UberChic Beauty XL/Jumbo Clear Jelly Stamper Review + Helpful Tips!

What up stamp champs,
Press Sample

Sorry for the short radio silence my wifi has been down because Comcast is the root of all that is evil and makes me long for my old Verizon.  Nevertheless today I'm going to be reviewing the XL stamper from UberChic Beauty.   I actually had to play around with this stamper so much before I could post a review on it.  This in part came from it being entirely a size I've never used before in this style of stamper and second and I think more importantly the difference in the size and style of the "holder" I was using needed to be adapted to.  In fact, I struggled a lot with that which is great for you because now I can prevent you from having that same struggle. It was obviously less awesome for me, but in all honesty its good to get some challenges in with stamping now and again because that's how I keep learning and growing.  Anyhoo this review will be broken up into sections which you can browse as well as full scale video review complete with swatches.  Please let me know if you have any comments or questions below.  Now let's get started!

Ok stamp champs,
It's about to get seriously real in here!  Today I have all 15 stamping polishes from Llarowe to share with you.  This is going to be a massive post full of swatches and discussion.  I was really surprised when I was contacted about these CbL stamping polishes because I didn't know they were in the works/being created.  What's more when I was told the polishes would be across all kinds of finishes and colors I was super intrigued.  I wanted to see what new offerings were going to be coming onto the market and so I accepted and threw my hat into the ring to try.  Plus let's face it the CbL polishes are beautiful.  I own a few myself from the main line so I knew they were going to be something else. So let's take a look these gorgeous polishes and see what innovations are coming now!  As usual if you have any questions feel free to leave 'em in the comments below.

Marianne Nails Nail Art Stamping Plates Review (XXL Edition)

Hey stamperistas,

I'm back with another review! Epic like in nature as is the usual lay of the land for my blog ;)  Today I'm going to share a brand that I've been wearing a lot so far in 2016, but across a size of plate I've never shared before.  That's right - today is all about Marianne Nails, and the lady that's going to steal the spotlight is the XXL 6 nail art stamping plate ;)  Whenever I post pictures of these XXL plates to my Instagram my feed goes wild.  Everyone wants to know where I got them from, why are they so big, etc etc.  And to be honest I don't think any of my double XL plates have gotten the attention they deserve from this brand.  Also if you've been following along you've seen at least across the rectangular plates that the etching this company produces is flawless flawless flawless!  I can and will show you again, but I thought today I'd show you something different too.  So lets get started leave your question or comments below especially if you love this brand as much as I do!

Emily de Molly Stamping Polish Review

Hey stamperistas,

Welcome to my 2nd review of the new year on the Lacquer Lockdown blog! What?!? I know I feel like I've done so many reviews and comparisons how is it possible? But recently I've been very focused on my filming and photography so I haven't spent as much time sitting down to review items that I've been using.  I've only ever done one prior review on stamping polish and I didn't really like the the layout I used on that one so this time it's going to much more in depth.  I'm choosy when it comes to stamping polish.  Behind the scenes I try a lot; some I'm not happy with and they never make an appearance on my blog and for others you know it's business as usual.  Today I'm going to be reviewing a brand of stamping polish I've never reviewed before - Emily de Molly which is run by the adorable, creative, and kind Hayley!   P.S. If you have any questions or comments or felt I missed something leave them in the comments below! Now let's take a look at these gorgeous polishes shall we?

Moyra Nail Art Stamping Plates Review

Updated 2/22/16

Hey stamperistas,

Welcome to my first stamping plate review of the new year from a brand new to Lacquer Lockdown!  That's right today is all about Moyra nail art stamping plates.  I've been wanting to share this brand with you for ages now.  Looking over their plates and their items for months at a time dying over their innovative images and wishing I could have their offerings in my own stash.  The only reason I haven't shared is because I'm standing by my rule of not sharing brands that I haven't reviewed before so that I don't share something unreliable to my followers.  Now I finally can and let's face it Moyra has been making all the right moves - innovative images, professional branding, and emergence from a stable franchise with a reputable reputation.  I've been having plategasms and now get ready cause you're gonna have them too ;)  As usual this review is split into sections feel free to scroll through.

Please don't forget to leave me questions, or comments about your experience or feedback you have at the end.  It really helps my blog,  other buyers, and also the makers and resellers as well when they read things!

Chelle We Stamp? Nail Art Stamper and Replacement Pads Review

Yo stamp champs,

Welcome to the continuation of my massive weekend review ;) You know I always get a thrill out of posting about new companies especially companies that make me as happy as this one has.  Some of you probably already know about the incredible stampers that Chelle Lee owner of Chelle We Stamp has been putting out on the market and for those that don't know time to get on board.  These stampers are in a word awesome! Chelle herself is unbelievably sweet, innovative, and kind. Something about this industry attracts this kind of person I think.  So she joins the ranks of lots of fabulous ladies I've "met" through this hobby.  And today I'm going to be sharing her stampers with you and hopefully igniting the sparks of your endless lusts for her absolutely flawless fabulous products.  Lol but it might just be me with these endless lusts when it comes to such things. Since I will be covering all the formulations of her pads and stampers this post will be a bit long, but you can scroll through for the sizes or stampers you are the most interested in or hit the final impression to get my verdict on these.  And please don't forget to leave feedback and comments on the blog.  Now let's get started...

Messy Mansion MM Series Nail Art Stamping Plate Review

Yo stamp champs,

Today I have a first time review for you which is strange because its definitely not a first time brand to the blog.  You know I spoke quite a bit at the start of the year about chronicling some reviews for brands that I love but never reviewed because they were perfect.   The Messy Mansion MM series is a prime example of plates that fall into that category.  You have to understand I have been purchasing plates from Julia since her company started.  I have a slightly obsessive-compulsive relationship when it comes to any products released by Messy Mansion and I think most of you know this well. However to the new and inexperienced stamper I might just seem bat sh*t crazy since I've never posted a review to back up my assertions at least until today ;)  So as usual with these reviews everything is in sections feel free to cruise around and don't forget to leave me some love in the comments and feedback ;)  Here we go....

GPStamping Stamper Review (Black/Green/Opaque and Neon Colorways)

Hey stamp champs,

Welcome to another epic Lacquer Lockdown review!  Its obvi not been so usual of late but ya know striving for normalcy and all that jazz ;)  I hope everyone is having a great weekend so far!  I'm withering away in the full on oppressive heat that represents the Southeron front and dreaming of Starbucks but that is altogether another story lol.  In any case today I have another stamper review for you all.  I haven't done one of these in a while at least not since I reviewed the AE Jelly Soft Stampers, but I today I'm going to be focusing on a new to me and maybe new to you company called  GP Stamping.  At one point this company had a few individuals in an uproar.  More on that later, but for now I will preface this review by saying I will not tolerate disrespectful comments of any kind on this blog.  I post reviews of ALL products that I feel may benefit my followers or that I have purchased and feel warrant such a review.  If you don't like it move along, but no negativity in this space or any of my official spaces.  Now as usual this review will be broken into sections that you can scan through.  Please don't forget to leave any questions or feedback you have for me and now let's get this show on the road ;)

Nail Matinee Nail Art Stamping Plate Review (Beautometry)

Hey stamperistas,

As the constantly hot stamping press continues to sizzle today I have a new indie brand to share with you called Nail Matinee.  I discovered these plates via a mutual stamping fanatic and put some feelers out to find out the who, where, when, what, and how.  I was able to find them stateside right from a homegrown company called Beautometry which some of you may already know about.  So now I can share these plates with you all today.  A brief note before I get started, normally I would have put up a Hot Off The Stamping press release for new brands, but given the recent fiascos with unscrupulous sellers I will be reserving those posts for established brands with which I have experience or that I have already reviewed personally as I am doing today.  As usual this post will be broken in to sections that you can scroll through.  Please don't forget to leave feedback, questions, comments, or concerns you might have.  Now let's get started!

Bundle Monster Secret Garden Nail Art Stamping Plate Review

Hey stamperistas,

Happy Saturday!  Apparently this weekend is Easter?  I'm so off of a normal schedule I have no idea what's going on anymore lol.  But today I have another review of recent plates to show you.   This time from Bundle Monster and the new Secret Garden Collection.  Honestly its been a very long time since I posted a Bundle Monster review, years in fact, though I do have all their plates except one collection and some of the new rectangular plates.  Generally speaking since I'm blessed I've had a friend give me the last set and I didn't feel a need to rush to swatch though generally speaking its a good idea to do so when you first purchase these plates so that if there's a problem you can do an exchange within the time limit.  Bundle Monster and Amazon (where I often purchase) both have wonderful exchange and return policies as I've posted about before.  Now let's get started and don't forget to leave feedback or questions if you have them!

Bundle Monster Rectagular XL Nail Art Stamping Plate Holder Review

Hey stamp champs,

It might just be me but I feel like these  days things are getting BUSY!  I'm just hectic at home hectic at school, and now even hectic with my nails.  Lol so far behind on everything and scrambling to make the magic happen.  And speaking of magic today I'm gonna talk about these new XL holders from Bundle Monster that literally stole my breath right away from me.  Its rare for me to just jump up and buy something these days because the market is so saturated right now!  But when my friend Yvette messaged me about these in the morning I was like "add to cart"---> "add to cart" ----> "check out with paypal"-----> "done".   Yes I was that impressed.  So now that I have my holders of course I'm going to share them with you.  As usual I try to break my review up into parts so that you can scan. through.  Mainly I will be doing plate comparisons and measurements.  I did also create a short video just to show you a few things so sit back and enjoy and don't forget to leave me some feedback darlings!!!!

Marianne Nails 2nd Collection Nail Art Stamping Plate Review

Happy Saturday everyone!

I hope everyone is having a great weekend and able to stay dry and warm.  Since the weather is so glum around these parts its the perfect time to sit back and enjoy another epic Lacquer Lockdown style plate review!  Today I'm going to be reviewing plates from the second series release of Marianne Nails.   You can view all of the plates from this release here.  If my memory serves me correctly I believe these plates didn't release until late December of 2014 though I announced them here in October.  I had been anticipating their arrival with something approaching glee, but customs and the USPS held things up a bit which is what kept me from posting this review initially when they arrived at the end January.  Now as usual with my reviews everything is broken up into to sections so feel free to scan through, and don't forget sharing and feedback is caring ;)

Pet'la Plate Nail Art Stamping Plates Review Part 2

Welcome back stamp champs,

Happy Monday such as it is and welcome to another epic review! I have a lot coming up even though I've been on quite a roll lately.  In any case today I'm going to be talking about  Pet'la Plate again!  You may recall I did a very extensive review on this brand several months ago. Read about it here.   At that time I had several plates that were a bit problematic in terms of etching and asked for replacement plates with Petra's shallower level of etching so the focus of todays post will be on these replacements.  I usually will post my reviews on the weekend, but I found out that there was a special going on with Pet'la so I wanted to share that info a little bit sooner so that if you wanted to take advantage of the sale you could.  As usual these reviews are broken up into sections for your perusal so feel free to skip to a particular area of interest. So let's get started and don't forget to leave comments, feedback, and your experiences with these plates!

Fab Ur Nails FUN Nail Art Stamping Plates Review

Hey stampaeristas,

I believe I told you tis the season to review! Lol actually it's not that it's the season to review it's that I finally have time to sit down and review all these plates after what feels like eons being away from my home base.  Today I have the latest release of stamping plates from Johanne of Fab Ur Nails i.e. FUN 13, 14, and 15 for your reviewing pleasure.  I've never reviewed this brand of plates before and its for a few reasons.  One I have purchased every single plate ever released by Fab Ur Nails over the years so it felt strange to suddenly review them and two the plates always have been absolutely flawless from etching to design.  Has anything changed? I'll let you be the judge.  As usual the review will be sectioned into different components relating to swatches, image size, etc so if you want to scroll through feel free.  Please leave comments, questions, and feedback I cannot emphasize this enough it's actually a huge help for me as a blogger! Now let's get started...
