Hot Off The Stamping Press: New Emily de Molly Nail Art Stamping Plates!

Hey lacqueristas,

There are still so many stamping plates coming out these days! It's a question of desire in a sea of overwhelming choice.  The great part about this is though that you will never run out of options right? Emily de Molly, the Australian plate creator and indie polish powerhouse has released 4 new plates! I actually knew these plates were going to launch fairly soon after chatting with Hayley, the talented owner and creator, on Instagram.   At that time roughly a month or so ago she had the prototypes making their way to her and now the plates are available for purchase.  So let's take a look!

I will tell you right off the bat my two favorite plates from this release are the abstract designs.  You all know I am a sucker for abstract and these are VERY VERY original! I am blown away by these designs and already plotting ;)

This plate is just cute! I don't know how necessary it s to have so many options for tree lines, but at the same time I can see creating one very beautiful silhouette nail art with this plate.  Also OMG what is that baby Bambi doing in there!

This one for me is probably my least favorite of the new plates.  It's not that I don't adore African themes because I do to bits and pieces, but its that I already own almost every single image on this plate.  I have a very similar one from Messy Mansion and Marianne Nails as well as Chez Delaney so it feels like a bit of over kill to go for that 4th plate.  The only image I'm questioning is in my stash is the pyramids and desert in the center.  Time to go plate spelunking ;)

She ended it on a super high note and I adore this plate!  It's definitely my favorite of the 4 and clearly its more abstracts except now with negative and positive images.  That's the best! In particular I like this plate because it reminds me of looking at stained glass in churches.  Sigh another must have!

Thoughts? Favorites? Hits vs misses?  These plates are available on the EdM website.  They retail for the ultra reasonable price of $6.50 USD + around $2-3 for international shipping.  If you live anywhere outside of Australia it is important to note you cannot add nail polish to your order of it will be cancelled since Hayley no longer ships polishes outside of Australia.  Which is a shame because her polishes are so gorgeous! In any case I hope you enjoyed the latest set of plates steaming up the presses. Happy hunting and I'll see you next post....

  1. Do these plates have any backing? Cause I read somewhere that they don't, just wanted to clarify...
