Hot Off The Stamping Press: UberChic Beauty Nail Art Stamping Plates

Hey stamperistas,

The press is hot like fire!  If only you knew the bombs I was sitting on right now you'd be dying inside a bit.  I'm already dying inside from holding back my 411 so  at least let me get a little relief today and show you one of the brands I've been holding back on telling you about.  Introducing UberChic Beauty.  A new indie on the scene that is about to steal your heart and leave you gasping for more.  Lol I know I always exaggerate everything, but isn't that why you love me ;)  Let's take a look....

So I can totally hear Beyonce singing in the background - "I just wanna say you're mine you're mine...stop making a big deal out of the little things and lets get carried away..."  I'm ready to get carried away from even the little sneak peek here of the images.

So let's talk some facts here. UberChic Beauty is run by the adorable and truly enthusiastic Brittany Hull.  She's been researching and working hard toward her goal of establishing her own plate company over the last year.  I know because she contacted me ages ago, before UberChic was UberChic,  asking me loads of questions about the endeavor and now here her company is! And based right in our own US of A.  Congrats hun! Btw peep the piled chevrons and tunneling kaleidoscope on this plate above...dies...

She has created 2 unique collections each containing 3 plates.  So total 6 new plates across 2 collections.   Oy oy lets stop for a moment here and pant.  This plate embodies so much of what I love.  Rich florals, decadent patterns, and fabulous detailing! I'm in love really a deep and abiding love.  Cue the music again.....

Look at how intricate that pattern is second row from the bottom and second from the right!  Jeez.  And again the florals here and abstracts are killing me!  The images for these plates are about 2.1 x 1.7 cm length by width which means they are pretty generous.

Here's the start of collection 2 and there are several patterns on this plate that make me so glad I'm into stamping.  First the radiating heart, then the coffee images, and finally the giant abstract dome on the bottom.  So cute!  PS if these plates look big its because they are - measuring 14 x 9.5 cm in length by width.

This plate is just so cool! Feathers in a design I've never seen before, mountains, leaves that are novel, abstract spirals.  This plate has it all!  I'm seriously impressed for sure.

And finally we are left with clouds, continents, and sharks.  I love it! Particularly the old school style compass at the top.

So what do you think?  We've got some really novel and cool designs here right?  I'm really excited for these plates to release.  They come bundled in a set of 3 for $24.99 plus shipping which is $5.99 in the US and $15 for international destinations.   You can order UberChic Beauty plates here.  These plates will be releasing this Friday on the 23rd of January, but they are available for pre-order right now.  If you order now too I think you get a free sample of their Magic Dust, which is this duochrome like additive you can use to change your polishes.  I'll add their social media outlets below as well you just have to click on each one to go to the relevant site.

Happy hunting stamp champs and I'll see you next post....

  1. I feel like killing someone right now because damn it all to Helfheim and back! lol I made an order from BPS this morning and then there's yours and Yvette GB on AIS. To make things worse, my mom borrowed ALL MY MONEY, so after I pay for those GBs I'm kinda broke until the end of the month when I receive my paycheck OTZ (tmi, sorry).

I'm seriously regreting that order now hahahahahaha. If I have known about this before I should have ordered these plates instead of making another order from BPS. UGH. I WANT THESE PLATEEEES! lol

Moving on, I really like them all. I think this company is starting with the right foot because there are so many amazing images here. I'm really looking forward to the reviews.

  2. Ugh... I just ordered the BPS plate too T.T
    They have many great images

  3. Yeah I wasn't impressed by the BPS plates at all way too may duped and copied images from other companies. These plates are definitely more exciting!

  4. Lol I thought we talked about the BPS release? They were a total pass for me. What's the point of getting cheap plates if they have the same images as other plates you own? I awaiting my order to arrive of these because I know they are gonna be awesome ;) But its not like you can't get them at the end of the month.

  5. Can't wait to order these plates! I LOVE the first set.

  6. I ordered them because I don't have the original plates. I mean, in my small collection of plates based mostly on Pueen, some MoYou, Bundle Monster, Hehe, and plates purchased on BPS, the new BP plates don't look like dupes. And yeah, I can buy the uberchic plates later but since I don't have any money left, I made the compromise to myself to not spend money on plates for at least 3-5 months. I still don't know how I'm going to achieve that with so many amazing releases and GBs lol

  7. Yup I said that in my original blog post that those plates might be better for someone with a smaller collection than mine or a beginner. However the new release is in fact full of dupes. They actually exactly copied Hehe 13 one of the Sailor Moon plates verbatim. They took images from Messy Mansion, Konad and more. You can go back and look at my blog post for more examples. I have a very sharp eye for copied images because I actually really can't stand dupes of any kind. To each their own but I don't personally I feel of you can't be innovative at least be original i.e. don't copy others. That's my hard line in the sand.

Now as to the Uberchic plates even if you go on a self imposed ban, I've done it before myself, the plates will be around later. The company just got started and the plates aren't even available for delivery until Friday. In 3-5 months on ban you can save up for more plates. You can also use that time to enjoy the plates you have and wait for what you ordered from GBs to arrive. At the end of the day as much as I post about and love stamping its just nails and meant to be fun not stressful or upsetting.

  8. Lol I understand the first set is my favorite at well! Don't forget if you order before the official release you get a little magic dust for free ;) Lol for me it was just a good excuse to order :)

  9. I'll just hang back and wait for your review before ordering. Loving the images but waiting to hear about how well they stamp. :)

  10. Even me, with less experience than you on this topic, could recognize that the images were from somewhere else. I'm always checking plates and brands, wishlisting what I want and stuff, so even if my collection doesn't have a little bit of everything, I can recognize images from certain plates/brands. As we were talking the other day, despite the fact that I ordered the last set, BPS has lost a point from my book due to the lack of originality and general sloppiness in their plates and its packaging. I still can't accept what they told me about my bent plate despite the fact they accepted to send me replacements at the end.

And you know, I was comparing Hehe 13 and the BP-49? plates and they aren't actually 100% similar. They changed a couple of images here and there to fool the inexperienced eyes. That makes me think that was an intentional move from their part to say "they aren't similar. Look, here's a different thing in the design" when people complain or point that out.

And about the UC plates and my restrain from purchasing anything for a while, I try to buy the plates at my own pace. Getting things in my country is more complicated that in most places so most of the times I have to wait long months before trying to order something. That's why my collection isn't so varied, because I can't afford purchasing from certain pages unless there is a GB involved. And this is the first time I'm participating on one, so I'm kind of jittery with excitement lol

  11. I'm not really sure what we are talking about here anymore. You said earlier the new BPS plates didn't look like dupes and now you're saying you recognized the copied images. I wasn't trying to make you feel bad or imply that you were a novice just point out the duplicated images in case you missed them as your earlier comment indicated. In any case this has gotten way OT. I'm just excited for the new UberChic Beauty plates and that's what this post is about so I'll leave it at that :)

  12. Don't worry about it! Though I wasn't particularly fond of the new BPS plates there were still some cute ones in the collection. You can also always wishlist these plates and pick them up later. Lol if only you knew how long my wishlist was. I definitely cannot afford to buy every plate I post/want that's why if I want something badly I just put it on the list and then buy it when I have the funds available :)

    ReplyDelete
  13. lol no. What I was trying to say in my previous comments was that I purchased them despite knowing they were dupes (we were talking about that on fb, remember?) because I don't have the original plates on my collection. So having the new BP plates won't be like having repeated plates. And that even when I don't have your experience in the matter, I could recognize some of the images too. I don't know if you can understand what I'm trying to say. My english fails me every once in a while lol

And I didn't feel bad nor anything. I didn't took anything you said as offensive. What made you think that?

Anyway, yeah, these plates. I want them and I'll have them... one day. As I said, I'm really looking forward for your review. Sorry for any kind of misunderstanding, Tamira :)

  14. If you go and look at the uberchicbeauty on Instagram you can see some demos. I'm not worried about them in the slightest but I will be reviewing them in any case ;)

  15. I think it was just a miscommunication. I thought you were upset but I'm glad you aren't and you don't have to apologize we are friends! I have a very long wishlist too so I feel your frustration :/ I wish I had another job to afford all the plates I want too or maybe just more self control. Lol one day ;)
