Spring Plaid and Floral Nail Art + Tutorial

Hey stamp champs,

Who's ready for the spring?  I am!  Trying out new colors and new techniques.  You haven't seen me use the "placement" style plates yet though I own many times of these plates.  Mostly I'm just "in the mood to stamp" these days and so this is the result.  Btw I was so ready for spring.  It's still cold here but my nails are already for spring and I feel the ensuing craving for neons that I always have as the thought of the upcoming summer approaches.

Mani-louge
Basecoat/Topcoat:  UNT Peel Off Basecoat / Poshe Ultra Fast Drying Topcoat
Basecoat:  Essie Sand Tropez and Mint Candy Apple, KBShimmer Set In Ocean
Scattered Holo Topcoat:  IMN Northern Lights in Silver
Stamping polishes:  Mundo de Unas 3, 5, 20,37, 38
Stamper:  Bliss Kiss See Through StamperStamping Plates:  CJS 02 and 08

About the plaid CJS plate.  Its etched poorly that's why I could not use my See Through Stamper on it.  The lines are really really shallow on this plate.  I have no idea why.  I'm going to contact the company and see if I can get it replaced.  I had to use my old Fab Ur Nails original marshmallow stamper and the gold holder to get the images to pick up.  The etching in fact is so shallow that I can't feel the images unless I lightly scrape my nail over the plate.  Regardless I wanted a full CJS mani and so I just switched things up and was able to get decent transfer.  Though unless you have good aim you will not be to line the images up as you would with a CJS stamper.

This is surprisingly simple right?  Its also surprisingly pretty. I pulled another skittlette with this one and tossed in one of the Mega Flames from KBShimmer.  Those polishes are some of my favorite microglitters in the entire world.  They literally, ok not literally, burn (insert flames here).  About this mani it popped off the next day.  I was super mad.  I mean roughly within 1 hour of being at work 2 out of three nails had jumped ship. Lol I swear...I love UNT but it's way too good at its job.

So thoughts?  Kinda pretty and perfect for the season I think. To be honest I was really over the winter when I put these together.  Right now all I want to wear is hologlitter and neons.  Collections any polish makers out there? Where are all the holographic neon microglitter nail polishes?  I want some if anyone can ever whip up a formula where the holo doesn't drown out the neon and vice versa!

Anyhoo thanks for reading along and I'll see you next post!
