Elevation Polish Wyoming The Wild Collection Swatches & Nail Art

Happy post Easter stamp champs,

Today I have swatches and nail art of the newest collection getting ready to release tonight at 9PM CST from Elevation Polish! Usually I'll try to get my swatches up a little earlier but between call and the horrors of my schedule this last week and this week as well have been hellish.  In any case such is life.  Now get excited as there are a lot of gorgeous colors in this collection as well as a highly requested SBP and just some purely special sparkle.  Get ready to fall in love with Wyoming The Wild!

Iceburg Lake

Really just a slightly off blue green creme with the merest hint of shimmer.  What's flawless about this polish is the formula.  Like a lot of the cremes Lulu rolls out this one is a near one coater and is very very smooth.  Pictured here in 2 perfectly self-leveling coats <3 Yeah its love.

Accent polish: Elevation Polish Wuyi Mountain, Tindur, Azure Caverns, and Hidden Falls
Stamping polish: Mundo de Unas Navy (3)

Accents: Mermaid and 1.5mm shell from Daily Charme , Bow: bundle Monster, 2-3.5mm rhinestones various

Given the name of this polish all I could think about was creating some ocean nail art.  So I jus scrambled around in my EvP stash until I pulled out several colors that reminded me of the ocean and sponged them over Iceburg until I got the effect I wanted.  I will admit I kinda fell in love with the base here.  I also ended up adding a little Hidden Falls for some extra luxe.

Can you see the slight shimmer? Lol maybe I'm making it up but I swear its there!

Fireflies In A Dark Meadow

This is the aforementioned returning SBP.  I think a lot of people died of polish-gasm when they saw this one.  I did as well and I was lucky enough and I do mean lucky to snag one of the SBPs and let me tell you I am so damn happy Lulu decided to re-roll this one out as a collection color.  Deep dark brown with golden shimmer and green and raspberry flakies.  This one shifts deliciously in the light. It's just gorgeous!  A word of advice I read when I purchased the SBP.  If you want to mix up the flakies a bit more roll the bottle in your hand don't shake it or you'll break apart the larger sized flakies.  Opaque in 2 coats and needed a good dollop of topcoat for some serious shine.

I cannot begin to tell you how many fails I had creating nail art for this one.  Dark colors I love especially browns but lord they are hard to stamp over.  Light colors can look harsh and I never want to drown out the main player.  I failed and failed and failed and this color almost stumped me.  Then I was like you know what let's just let Fireflies have the spotlight and add a little accent to the party.

Oy isn't this really beautiful? This combination of flakies is heavenly!

Grand Teton Sunset

Tricky.  Blurplely blue creme with high shine topcoat included in the formula that's opaque in 2 coats but sort of took 3 to get it to even out.  A few words to the wise.  First because this formula already has topcoat in it you don't need to put topcoat on it.  In fact I would caution you NOT to put topcoat on it because it will cause the polish to form weirdly colored darker streaks along your nails.  Second this polish leans waaay toward blue rather than purple on me.  Even when I paired it with a blue to "force" the violet tones to come forward my camera revolted. Sigh.  I don't think this is just my camera but once again I can here that DSLR calling to me in a loud croon....

Watermarble: Elevation Polish Grand Teton Sunset and Lake Isles , Essie Licorice

Who took over here? I feel like GTS was just making a fool of me! Gah but the watermarble here was effortless.

Purty.....

Whoa Jackson Hole

Taupe/Gray thermal that has tons of silver shimmer and a little bit of scattered holo.  Its lovely! I love taupe you know that since I basically gush every single time I get my hands on one.  Earth tones YAS!!!.  I honestly was not able to push the thermal effect out of this one.  I think it may be supremely subtle, because with the length of my nails usually I can get anything to transition. Regardless I freaking love this color!

Indirect lighting

Direct lighting (boy look at that holo!)

Freehand lepoard with Thunder Basin <3 Wishing I'd used a nude as the dots in hindsight but I still really love  this gradient effect.

Thunder Basin

A sweet sweet espresso brown creme.  Its a ONE COATER! Oy. If there is one polish color I own more of and probably don't need another but just can't help myself it's brown polish.  Formulas like this just make it a dream.  This is like dipping my fingers in the darkest cocoa.  Look at how my skin glows.  This is two coats but you could definitely get away with one for sure.

Accent polish:  Orly Glitz & Glamour
Stamping polish: Mundo de Unas  (50)

I'm not sure about the art I created here.  Even though the pinks and golds really go well with the brown somewhow the effect I wanted was off.  Do you know what I mean? Like maybe I should have done pinks on pinks? Sigh here's to over thinking :/ Whatever at least the brown creme yuminess is still decadent!

Storm Cloud

Medium periwinklish blue with raspberry flakies and holo shimmer.  OMG OMG.  Hyperventilating over how pretty this polish is!  No I'm not kidding.  I took it out of the package and stroked it.  There was a sample a while ago maybe during last months restock that this reminds me of. In my head I remember staring and the sample and thinking "God I wish this was a regular polish...maybe I can ask for a similar looking custom?" And lo and behold here Lulu has created it.  Thank you sweet Baby J!

Hoooo (general countrified sound of excitement)! Holy direct light swatch Batman!

Oy oy! See what I mean?

Hidden Falls

A 23 Karat gold flakie topper.  Boy do I feel spoiled and blessed! Do you know that Lulu hand rolls and measures each piece of gold that goes into the bottle? Man talk about dedication.  They float out in the base like a dream too.  You literally have to do zero digging.  And what else is great about this is that I have been living for the gold flakie polishes these days.  If you look back at the last couple of nail arts I created you will see that I've been sliding them in here and there not knowing that I must have been sending Lulu brainwaves lol or maybe she was sending me her's ;)

Gradient: Virtuous Polish Magdalene, Miriam, and Queen Ester
Stamping polish: Mundo de Unas Black (2)
Stamping plates: MoYou London Artist 03

I created a cotton candy wonderland and added flakies and then tribilized it! Lol it's actually super rare for me to include polishes that are non-EP unless I can't find colors that work but this just beckoned and I could not refuse!

Your bottles will come with a special gold label and a little <3 Lulu label on the back! How cute is that? Its all about the details darling.

So as I said before this collection is set to release tonight at 9PM CST.  You can purchase the collection as well as other restocking shades on the Elevation Polish Big Cartel site. The Hidden Falls polish has a limit of 1 per customer due to the level of time and intensity that is required for its making and as such is priced at $25.  Worth it? I think so lol but I'm biased and I'm getting it because I want that special gold label (yes I'm ridiculous).  All other polishes will retail between $8.50-12.50USD.  Don't forget to check out the SBPs as well this evening cause you know they are always spectacular! Thanks for reading and good luck at tonights restock! May the polish gods be ever with you ;)
