Stripes & Roses B Loves Plates Nail Art

Hey lacqueristas,

There has been a mani that I've been wanting to try for like dog years.  Its a black and white striped affair with flowers.  I've seen it over and over again from other bloggers totally freehand and I felt like I would burst if I didn't try it soon.  Good thing I had these awesome rose patterns from my new B. Loves Plates to take out for a spin ;)

Mani-louge
Basecoat/Topcoat:  CND Stickey / Poshe Fast Drying Top Coat
Basecolor:  Rimmel French Tip White
Accents:  Essie Double Breasted Jacket, China Glaze , and Maybelline Color Show Fiery Tulip
Stamping polish:  Mundo de Unas Black
Stamping plates:  B. Loves Nails B02 Flower Power and LeLac C A (stripes)

So here's what I came up with - btw I am totally loving these plates!  If you haven't heart of B. Loves Plates you can check out my review here.  This nail art came out pretty sweet, but after creating it I realized I should have gone back with my nail art brush and added lines around the boarders to define the roses more.  So next time I will and I think the art will become a little more detailed.

What do you think?  Do you like the matte or glossy version better? These are not perfect but overall not bad for a first attempt at lines and roses.  I think the roses alone would make such pretty nail art for Mother's Day thinking about it now.  So if you were interested you could probably do something similar for your mum.  You can purchase the B Loves Plates here.  In any case thanks for reading and I'll see you next post....

  1. I love how the flowers totally match the label on the polish bottle.
